Art itself is a total metaphor, and the work of every artist could be said to help create a single metaphor. This is why, regardless of his or her productivity, every painter narrates one painting i.e. one metaphor.

This is probably the desire to read a single, endless text. This desire pushes the painter to willingly enter the labyrinth of the creative process. It is precisely this everlasting, mysterious text and endless labyrinth which are the precondition and guarantee that art and, more specifically, painting was and will be mysterious, unidentified and inexhaustible.
